Williamsville United Methodist Church

Our Christmas Eve service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 24. All are welcome.

During Advent we turn our focus to hope, peace and joy in Jesus Christ. No earthly thing or person can satisfy our desires and needs. Jesus is the God of Hope, John 14:6. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, Isaiah 9:6. There is joy when we remember what Jesus did for us on the cross.

Life happens. Sickness, death, fender-benders, disagreements, hunger, pink-slips, and poverty all threaten to steal our joy. But remembering with gratitude what Jesus Christ did for us and continuing to run the race, eyes on the prize, which is Christ the Holy Spirit, growing in holiness, and fighting sin, will bear fruit.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23

Maybe you are in a tough season or have been distracted. We invite you to come back home, come to the place, come to the relationship with the God of Hope, Jesus the Prince of Peace, and the Holy Spirit who bears fruit in your life.

Sunday mornings at 9. Christmas Eve at 5:30. 128 East Jones Street, Williamsville. Dress is casual. Come and find hope, peace, and joy.
