Williamsville United Methodist Church News

The Christmas Eve service will be held at 5:30 p.m. and the Christmas Day service will be held at 10 a.m. Note the change in time for the Christmas Day service.

Hope, peace and joy! Tis the season for remembering these fruits of the Spirit come from Jesus Christ, and him alone. John 15:11 tells us Jesus’ words, “These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.”

Jesus is the bread of life, the beginning and the end, the alpha and the omega, the shepherd, the redeemer, cornerstone, counselor, friend, high priest, judge, mediator, light of the world, prince of peace, author of life, the promised one, the savior of the world…who comes in the form of a helpless child, to be sacrificed as a lamb, to return one day as the lion of Judah! And he did this for you and for me and for all who believe in his name.

Happiness is fleeting, but real, down in the heart joy, is not dependent upon circumstances. Joy comes from having a heart that is living for Jesus. In this holy season, may you find real joy in Christ.

There are two chances to worship Christmas weekend, Saturday at 5:30 and Sunday at 10 a.m. Looking forward to meeting you there!
