Judas Iscariot rejected Jesus. On the night of the Passover Feast, Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. This was a premeditated denial of Jesus, the Messiah. Judas sold out Jesus, the One whom he witnessed healing the sick, raising the dead, making the lame walk and giving sight to the blind. Judas did not deny Jesus because of fear of persecution. No, Judas denied Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.
It would be better for Judas not to have been born. His life was doomed to hell forever.
John tells us, “For God so loved the world that he sent his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”
