Williamsville United Methodist Church News

In the best of times and the worst of times, where is your hope when things unfold?

You get the dreaded test results…you turn on the news and it is brutal. Shootings, stabbings, fire storms, floods, disease, wars and rumors of war… Until the return of Christ and his kingdom is established, we live in this uncontrollable environment. Where is our hope?

In Mark 13: 1-13, Jesus gives the longest answer recorded in the temple. He begins by saying to them, “See that no one leads you astray.”

We are here in this moment in history for furthering God’s kingdom. It is a mission. Be reminded that even today, in this chaotic world, we are here for a kingdom purpose. And nothing that happens is out of God’s control. Come walk with us and be reminded of this truth as we walk through this section of Mark together.

Church is at 9:00, doors open at 8:30. Dress is casual. Children’s Sunday School is during the service.

We will be at Autumn on the Boulevard Sept. 10 & 11. Stop by our booth on the east end of the boulevard and play some games on Saturday. All are welcome at the Community Church Service, September 11 as we join with the Williamsville Christian Church for worship. Donuts and coffee will be served afterwards. Hope to see you there!
