Our Ash Wednesday service will be March 2 at 6:30 pm. Come and join us as we pause and reflect on what Jesus has done for us and the choices we will make as followers of Christ.
We are studying the book of Mark. This past week we learned what it means to be “Christian”, what it means to pick up our cross and follow him. In Mark 8:31-38, the apostles didn’t understand. They “knew” but didn’t know. As we prepare for Easter Sunday, now is the time to learn who Jesus is and what it means to follow him. This Sunday we’ll learn about the transfiguration, Mark 9:1-13.
There are Sunday School classes for preschoolers and elementary students during the service. Dress is casual. The service starts at 9:00. Come and see.
Other happenings: Monday morning prayer meetings are in the Sanctuary at 8:00 am. Community Coffee Hour restarts Tuesday, March 1 at 10:00 am. Ash Wednesday service will be March 2 at 6:30 pm. Knotty Quilters meet at 9:00 am on Thursday. All are welcome. You do not have to be a member of this church or any church to attend.
