Mark 2:18-22… During Jesus’ ministry people were being held to man-made, legalistic restrictions, impossible to keep. Jesus’ message of grace and freedom were going to wreck these ideas.
Jesus came to redeem sinners like us. There are no barriers between us, Jesus and God the Father.
Jesus brings us salvation with the grace he extends. The more we understand God’s grace and how kind he is, the more we want to surrender to him. Grace is unmerited. We cannot earn God’s grace. God’s grace is a gift to accept. Jesus came to do something new.
