Williamsville Methodist Church News

Jesus came to save Matthew, a man of questionable character, away from a life of scorn. “Follow me,” said Jesus.

The Pharisees found Jesus eating and associating with sinners unacceptable. But Jesus was making a point. “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Mark 2:17

We have to recognize that we are sinners in need of help before we can recover.

Jesus showed Matthew a path to a new life. Jesus calls us to follow. The Holy Spirit takes up residence and begins to root out sin, convict and comfort. We obey and we are saved. We are given new life for eternity.

Are you aware of your need for a redeemer? Our king calls us to follow.

You are invited to join us in following Jesus. We are a loving group of sinners and outcasts who have been saved. Come and follow Him.

Hope to see all of you on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at 128 East Jones Street in Williamsville! Please contact the church office if you have questions or have a special need.
