Message from Pastor Sims

From Pastor Shane

I have taken a break from social media for Lent, that is why there has not been any communication at all from me(Shane) on this platform.

Since I know there are concerns about the current outbreak of the Coronavirus and if events will be taking place, I wanted to let everyone know we will be worshipping as usual, 9 a.m on Sundays. I do want to emphasize, those who are not feeling well or just feel like staying home is the best option for you and others, do not feel obligated to assist. We will be praying for you and the rest of the World.
We will upload the sermon each week as quickly as possible.
We will also be following the guidelines put in place by the government and state officials and of course we will keep you posted on that.
Please remember, we are the church, the calm in a storm, the peace in the Chaos, stability in the unsure… because of Jesus we have this assurance.

Philippians 4: 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all he has done.

As you may know, in previous years we have united with other Methodist Churches around the area and have had evening services on the five Sundays leading to Easter. This Sunday 03/15, was our turn to host the service but due to the circumstances we are living with the Coronavirus outbreak, unfortunately we are going to need to cancel it.

Please continue to pray for the World during these hard times and keep your eyes on God as He will never leave us nor forsake us.
