Dear Church

Another update as to where we are at regarding services in the near future. Let me preface by writing this an excellent opportunity to break the mold that the building means the church. Let’s be reminded, the people are the Church and the power of the Holy Spirit lives within. What’s the Holy Spirit challenging you to do in these days.. his church (you)? For me, it is to be intentional in my neighborhood and searching for ways to fulfill needs. Physically, emotionally and Spiritually
And sharing the reason I am helping, the Gospel

As far as gathering together for worship, our Bishop Frank Beard is following local, Stare and Federal leaders guidelines to slow the spread of COVID-19. Continue to pray for our leaders

Meaning, we are suspending in-person worship through March 31st. But again this does not mean Church stops. But the gathering for worship does, through March 31st. Continue to connect through online worship, I have in previous post recommended First United Methodist Church, Springfield they are doing that very well with their capabilities and leadership.
I will be sending out letters of encouragement, available for prayer request and open for conversation on how we can be helpful in our community as a whole. Let’s stand firm and be the light in a dark time and have the courage to share why we stand this way. Because of Jesus

Blessings,

Shane

1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
